Every year, thousands of schools, companies and communities come together to make World Mental Health Day that little bit brighter by wearing something yellow and donating to YoungMinds.
Right now, the world is a really tough place for children and young people to grow up in. We want young people to know that they don’t have to go through this alone. Things can get better.
This World Mental Health Day, wear yellow with thousands of others across the UK and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health.
Because we stand brighter, together.
Wood Green Student Ambassadors are going to be selling yellow hair scrunchies and wristbands so our pupils can join in and support this day.
Items will be on sold by ambassadors who will drop in during form times and break times in Hughes foyer Monday 7th– Thursday 10th October £1 each, all proceedings raised will be donated to the YoungMinds charity.
Please note: only those yellow items can be worn, this is not a non-uniform day.
