Cover supervisor

CONTRACT:  1 year fixed – Term time only

 

START DATE:  1st Sept 24 (subject to clearances)

 

SALARY SCALE:  Band D – Full time salary £25,119 *(This would be pro-rata for term time only)

                                   
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled cover supervisor who can take charge of a group of students as directed.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a class or group who are undertaking pre-set work. They will also participate in exam support, the supervision of students in the internal exclusion unit and the supervision of students during enrichment activities. They should have experience of working with young people and be able to demonstrate a commitment to promoting the importance of learning to young people.

    Learning Support Assistant

     

    CONTRACT:                

    29 hrs 10 mins per week –TERM TIME ONLY

    Fixed, September 1st 2024 to August 31st 2025

     

    START DATE:

    As soon as possible depending on pre-employment checks

     

    SALARY SCALE:

    Band B + SEN Allowance

    Starting Pt 2 = £22,366*

    * This would be pro-rata for hours and Term Time ONLY (approx: in between £14,000-15,000 per year + SEN allowance)

     

    We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant whose principal role is to provide in-classroom support to our SEND students, under the direction of the teacher. The role involves providing both academic support and welfare support. This is a fixed term post, starting ASAP after all pre-employment checks have been completed. We are particularly but not solely interested in applicants who have the ability to support students in Maths, English and Science at Key Stage 4.

     

    The successful candidate should be able to offer excellent communication skills and experience of working with young people would be an advantage. Applicants must have at least a grade C or 4 in English or Maths at GCSE/Level 2. Original evidence of qualifications will be required at interview. 

     

    This position provides excellent preparation for people who are considering careers in teaching and who are looking to gain experience of working with young people or working in a school setting.

      We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner; Behaviour to take on the responsibility of impacting on the educational and pastoral progress of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. To work in partnership with staff, outside agencies and parents/carers to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. To share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.

       

      The successful candidate should be able to offer excellent communication skills and experience of working with young people would be an advantage.
