Student Welfare Manager   

Contract:         Permanent  1 day per week – Fridays

Salary Scale:    Band E = £25,419 pro rata for 1 day per week and term time only. 

                            Starting Point 18 @ £13.18 hourly rate 

Start date:       As soon as possible

 

We are seeking to appoint a Student Welfare Manager who has a passion for making a difference to children’s lives and work as part of our welfare and safeguarding team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the operation of Wood Green Academy.

Learning Support Assistant  

Contract:       

1 year fixed until end of school year 2022-23 (21st July 2023)  
27.5 hours / 5 days per week –   term time only


Salary Scale:  

Band B (Pt2 £18,516 to Pt4 £19,264) Pro. Rata for term time/hours


We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant whose principle role is to provide in-classroom support to our students, under the direction of the teacher. The role involves providing both academic support and welfare support. This is a fixed term post, starting 1st Sept or ASAP after that date and lasting for the academic year. We are particularly interested in applicants who have the ability to support students in Maths, English and Science at Key Stage 4.


The successful candidate should be able to offer excellent communication skills along with experience of working with young people. They must have at least a grade C in English, Maths and Science at GCSE.


This position provides excellent preparation for people who are considering careers in teaching and who are looking to gain experience of working with young people, or working in a school setting.
