SAFEGUARDING ALERT

Friday 24th May 2021 at 3.10pm

Location: Oldbury

A report has been received from a member of the public that a car pulled over, by Causeway Green Road, and asked where “Pound Road School was”. She told him, but the car turned into Ashes Road and not Pound Road, and then 10 students came running out saying the man was going to stab them.

 

Description: white male, mid-30’s, with brown hair and wearing a white cap. The car was described as a blue Peugeot.

Friday 14th May 2021 at 1.10pm

Location: West Bromwich 

A report has been received that a member of staff was walking down Willett Road and was followed by a car. Near the end of the road the car stopped, the male got out of the car and spoke to the member of staff. He asked if she was a student, when she replied that she was a member of staff he quickly got back into his car and drove off.

 

Description: Asian male, with a bald head. The car was described has a “white people carrier” type car.

 

Friday 14th May 2021

Location: Wednesbury area

The same student and his friend saw the same male, who was waving and shouting at the boys.

 

Description: Asian male, in his late 20’s/early 30’s. On occasion one, the male was wearing a grey tracksuit and on the second occasion he was wearing grey trousers and a red jumper.

Thursday 13th May 2021, 3:15pm

Location:  Joinings Bank, Oldbury

A report has been received that a student, on her way from school, was yelled at by a male in a car.

 

Description: Asian male, approximately 65‑years old, wearing an orange turban. The car was described as a white Mercedes.

Friday 13th May 2021 at 7:55am 

Location: Blackheath town centre, Rowley Regis

A report has been received that a student was on the way to school when a white transit van slowed down and followed the student. The van stopped, and the driver stared at the student and then drove off.

 

Description: white male, in his 40’s with a bald head.

 

Friday 7th May 2021

Location:  Brunswick Pub

On Friday 7 May 2021, on a field near the Brunswick pub, the student was followed by a male who kept asking the student’s name. The male was walking two German Shepherd dogs.

 

Description: Asian male, in his late 20’s/early 30’s. On occasion one, the male was wearing a grey tracksuit and on the second occasion he was wearing grey trousers and a red jumper.

 

Monday 15th March 2021 at 8:40am

Location: Wood Green Road near the Horse and Jockey pub

At approximately 08:40, a female student was walking down the Wood Green Road near the Horse and Jockey pub. A white van, with 2 males inside, pulled up next to the student with the window open and one of the males started to smile and nod at the student. The male said, “come in, come in”. The student walked off and the van then drove off. 

 

The person was described as a white male in his 50’s, wearing a black beanie hat. He had a ginger medium length beard and was wearing a black top. The student was unable to provide a description of the second male.
