With warm weather forecast over the last two weeks of term (between 25°C and 29°C), we will be once again making temporary adjustments to our school uniform expectations on the following dates:
– Monday 6th July
– Tuesday 7th July
– Wednesday 8th July
– Thursday 9th July
– Friday 10th July
– Monday 13th July
– Tuesday 14th July
– Wednesday 15th July
On these days, students may choose to wear either:
Option 1
Full school uniform as normal.
Option 2
– Black school PE shorts
– White school polo shirt
– School jumper (if required)
– Trainers suitable for PE
Additional guidance:
– Religious headwear may be plain white.
– Students who, for religious reasons, prefer not to have their arms uncovered may wear a plain white base layer beneath their polo shirt.
Please note:
– Shorts that are not official school PE shorts will not be permitted.
– Trainers must be suitable for PE activities.
– Students may not wear a jacket instead of their school jumper.
Students will be allowed to remove their jumper during the school day if necessary and will not be required to bring it to school.
We strongly encourage students to bring plenty of water, apply sunscreen before attending school, and bring additional sunscreen if required. Students may also wear a sun hat during break and lunchtime. As always, full attendance is expected.
Thursday 16th July
Students should attend school in their full PE kit. They should bring:
– A water bottle
– Sunscreen
– A sun hat (if sunny weather is forecast)
Friday 17th July
Students may attend in non-uniform. We kindly ask for a voluntary donation of £1, where affordable.
The following items are not permitted:
– Ripped clothing
– Crop tops or low-cut tops
– Hot pants or very short shorts
– High heels
– Hooped earrings
Students will attend lessons as normal during the morning, and school will finish for the summer holiday at 12:00pm.
Full school uniform will be expected again when students return after the summer holiday.
Thank you for your continued support.
