Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to a fault with one of the boilers in Newton Block, we have unfortunately had to close the block until repairs are completed.

As a result, the start of term will be staggered for some students, who will be required to complete online learning from home. This will only affect students in Years 8, 9, and 10.

Students working from home:

• Tuesday 6th January: Years 9 and 10

• Wednesday 7th January: Years 8 and 9

Work for these year groups will be set via announcements on ClassCharts.

If the issue remains unresolved beyond Wednesday, we will provide a further update.

Please note that it is essential for all students in Years 7, 11, 12, and 13 to attend school as normal every day and Years 8, 9 and 10 when they are scheduled to be in school.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
