Safeguarding Weekly Advice
If you feel that a child is at risk of harm please don’t think that it is someone else’s responsibility to report it. Your action may be something that helps change a child’s life.
What can you do:
If there is immediate risk you must call 999 and see immediate help
Contact the school and ask to speak to the DSL – Miss Donaghie or someone else you feel you can talk to
Contact children services – Sandwell 0121 569 3100, Walsall 0300 555 2866 (or Emergency Response Team on 0300 555 2922 for out of office hours
Contact the NSPCC: You can call the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000 or email help@nspcc.org.uk
