Back in March the Learning Hub ran a sponsored Readathon to raise money for Read For Good, a charity that supports young people in hospitals across the country to enjoy reading and literacy in various capacities. We had a wonderful response from students, who in just 2 weeks raised £122!
Read for Good were back in contact earlier this week to send our certificate of thanks and two gift vouchers for our “most deserving” fundraisers. You’d only need to talk to Erin or Sophie for a minute or two to know why they came to mind straight away: not only did they raise a the majority of our total sponsorship funds, they also embodied the spirit of the challenge!
Well done once again to all our fundraisers.
