KPMG is hosting a Life in a Day event in Birmingham, giving students a real insight into what their future could look like as an apprentice at KPMG.
This in-person event is designed for students aged 16–18 who are considering an apprenticeship in areas such as tax, audit, technology or finance. Parents and carers are very welcome to attend.

What students can expect
Throughout the evening, students will rotate through a range of engaging, hands-on activities, including:
Meeting current KPMG apprentices in the onsite café
Taking part in team-based, real-world problem-solving challenges
Trying online tasks used in KPMG’s recruitment process
Gaining a behind-the-scenes look at how KPMG makes a difference every day
Parents and carers are invited to a dedicated Parents’ Café, offering a relaxed space to meet staff, ask questions and learn more about apprenticeships at KPMG.
Dinner will be provided, and colleagues from the Birmingham office will be available throughout the evening to chat, share experiences and answer questions.
By the end of the event, students will gain:
A clear understanding of KPMG and its apprenticeship pathways
First-hand experience of working in a professional office environment
Practical tips and guidance for applications and next steps
