We are very pleased to announce that our Eco-Committee at Wood Green Academy have been successful in meeting the requirements for the Eco-Schools Green Flag with Merit Award.

The committee’s dedication and innovative approach to environmental issues have positively impacted our school and community. Their hard work, including the creation of a Wellbeing Garden, detailed meeting minutes and an effective Action Plan, demonstrates their commitment to sustainability.

Eco-Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world, operated internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). The programme connects 19.5 million children, young people and educators through sustainable development education with 67 countries on all five continents participating.
