Entry Requirements
Sixth Form Entry Criteria:
A minimum of 5 9-5 GCSE grades, which must include a grade 5 or above in either English Language or English Literature.
Special Entry Requirements:
GCSE Maths 5+
GCSE Business 5+ (if studied)
Students must be prepared to work long hours outside lesson time to regularly review the topics covered.
Pupils will be expected to do wider reading and research outside of lesson time prior to their lessons. They will need to keep abreast of current affairs locally and globally.
Extended writing will be a key focus of this A Level as the majority of marks are awarded for evaluative writing.

At Advanced Level students will sit three two hour external assessments. All of which have an equal weighting of 33%.

This course allows students to get sound subject knowledge of a whole range of business concepts. Many students will go onto university to either study Business as a whole, or concentrate on one particular aspect.
