MICROSOFT OFFICE 365
Both staff and students have an online file storage area – One Drive. This is a useful area to create resources ready for sharing direct to classes or ready for use via Teams.
This is a useful tutorial if you need to create files in O365 One Drive on an alternative device. It also demonstrates the process of creating and saving files direct into One Drive, ready for sharing with colleagues/students.
Please note that at stage where names of users can be entered for the sharing process, WGA staff can share to a whole class. To do this, begin typing in your class code (e.g. 10C-MS1). You should then see the relevant class appear as 10C-MS1 Members. If this does not appear, select “search directory”.
If a colleague or student has shared a file with you within O365 One Drive, this is how to access it.
This is a great way to make a range of files accessible to a whole class.
If you want to switch the ability of students to communicate with each other and with you – check this tutorial. Remember – no posts can be deleted (this includes staff) and students are expected to use the space in a professional manner. If using this feature, please remind students of this.
Using TEAMS ASSIGNMENTS to distribute and receive/feedback on work.
This is a powerful tool for administering long form writing tasks.
