As can be seen above the only change that has been accommodated is bringing the school day forward by 5 minutes, which has come as a request from some parents. In addition we will have a number of staff on duty from 8.40am – 8.45am each day.

The same day detention system was also approved at Governors and will also start in September 2016. The majority of detentions will be 30 minutes and completed on the same day. An e-mail/text message to the parent will be sent within the first 15 minutes so that you are aware that their son/daughter may be slightly late home from school.

Persistent offenders that consistently disrupt the learning of others will be given further detentions of 1 or 2 hours in length. In those situations 24 hours notice will be given.
